FAQ

Common questions

Where should I check current Gold Coast train disruptions?

Use Translink's service updates and journey planner. During the September–October 2026 closure, detailed railbus and transfer information is being updated there.

Does the current rail closure mean the G:link tram is shut?

No. The extended closure described here is for the heavy-rail Gold Coast and Beenleigh lines between the Gold Coast and Brisbane, not the G:link light-rail line along the coast.
